Baptism

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

Matthew 28:19 — NIV

When someone decides to ‘get right with God’, part of the outward expression of their commitment to following Jesus Christ is being baptised. It is one of the best decisions a Christian can make — a beautiful public declaration of faith that reinforces an exciting and adventurous journey with the Creator of all.

At GHAM, we practise believer’s baptism by immersion — following the example and command of Jesus Christ.

How to Prepare

1

Attend a baptism preparation class — open Q&A sessions to help you understand the meaning and significance of baptism.

2

Pick up and submit a baptism form at the church office at least one week before the next baptism Sunday.

3

Join us for the baptism ceremony — held on the 2nd Sunday of every month as part of our regular celebration service.

Baptism Sunday: Every 2nd Sunday of the month at GHC Nansana. Contact us to find out the next date and to register.

Baptism at GHAM

"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."

Romans 6:4 — NIV

Baby Dedication at GHAM

Baby Dedication

Baby dedication is a beautiful and meaningful occasion where parents make a public statement of faith to raise their child in God’s grace and wisdom. It is a moment of gratitude — recognising your child as a gift from God — and a commitment to be a godly example in your child’s everyday walk.

Baby dedication does not secure salvation; rather, it is symbolic of entrusting your child’s life to God’s will. It is a powerful declaration that, as for your household, you will serve the Lord.

How to Register

1

Pick up a baby dedication form from the church office or speak to a pastor.

2

Fill and submit the form at the church office at least one week in advance of the service.

3

Attend the dedication Sunday with your family and celebrate this milestone together with the GHAM community.
